Video: Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Here it is – a look at my Himalayan trek to Nepal’s Annapurna Base Camp with Eric! We backpacked for 6 days, traveling approximately 60 miles and traversing over 32,000 feet of elevation changes. From the tropical lowlands (3,000 feet) up to the alpine Annapurna Sanctuary and Annapurna Base Camp (13,600 ft) and back again, we had an amazing time and will never forget it! There’s nothing like the Himalayas!

Our Itinerary:
(Oct 8-13th, 2015)
Day 1 – Bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Hike from Kande to Pothana
Day 2 – Pothana to Chhomrong
Day 3 – Chhomrong to Deurali
Day 4 – Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
Day 5 – Annapurna Base Camp to Chhomrong
Day 6 – Chhomrong to Sinwa (with Jhinu Hot Springs), Jeep to Pohkara

  2. I trekked up to the basecamp in the spring of ’13 and did a very similar route to you! Hope you enjoyed it as much as me, I’ve wanted to return ever since!
